Okay, so I’ve been wanting to add some greenery to my workspace, but I’m terrible at keeping plants alive. Seriously, I once killed a cactus. A CACTUS! So, real plants were out of the question. I started looking into faux succulents, and wow, some of them are expensive! I wanted a bunch, not just one or two, so I needed a more budget-friendly option. That’s when I thought, “Why not try wholesale?”
My Wholesale Succulent Adventure
First, I spent a good few hours just browsing online. I looked at all sorts of different suppliers, comparing prices, minimum order quantities, and the look of the plants. Some looked super fake, like shiny plastic toys. Others were surprisingly realistic, but the prices reflected that. I needed to find that sweet spot – decent looking, but not breaking the bank.

I finally narrowed it down to a couple of suppliers that seemed promising. They had good reviews, decent photos, and the minimum order wasn’t too crazy. One of the sites needed me create wholesale account for it. It took me a while to fill out the application and wait them reply me. I placed small orders with both, just to see the quality in person. I figured it was better to spend a little extra upfront than to end up with a huge box of unusable plastic junk.
Waiting for the packages was the hardest part! It felt like forever, but eventually, they arrived. I ripped open the boxes like a kid on Christmas morning.
- The first batch was… okay. Some of the succulents were pretty good, others were a bit meh. A few had weird glue strings hanging off them, and one was squished. But overall, not bad for the price.
- The second batch was much better! The succulents looked more realistic, with better coloring and texture. There was a greater variety of shapes and sizes too. I was definitely happier with these.
After inspecting everything, I picked out the best ones from both orders. I ended up with a pretty good collection! I cleaned up the few that needed it (mostly just snipping off those annoying glue strings). Then came the fun part – arranging them!
I played around with different arrangements in some cute little pots I already had. I mixed and matched the different types, trying to make them look as natural as possible. It took a bit of fiddling, but I finally got them looking just right.
Now, my desk is looking much more lively and inviting! And the best part? I don’t have to worry about watering them, giving them sunlight, or any of that plant-care stuff. They’re always going to look good, no matter how much I neglect them. Mission accomplished!
