Where to Buy Self Watering Ceramic Planter: A Comprehensive Guide for Plant Lovers.

Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to try out these self-watering planters for a while now. I kept seeing them online, you know, those ceramic ones that are supposed to make taking care of plants super easy? Well, I finally caved and bought a few.

I started by gathering all my materials. I grabbed one of those Nihow Self Watering Plant Pots, the 6-inch one. It’s got this cool ceramic pot with a drainage hole, and then there’s this other part for storing water. I also picked up some potting soil and, of course, the plant I wanted to put in it. I chose a cute little succulent because I heard they’re pretty low-maintenance.

First, I put some soil in the bottom of the ceramic pot. I made sure not to pack it too tightly, you know, gotta let the roots breathe! Then, I carefully took my succulent out of its old pot and placed it into the new one. After that, I filled in around the succulent with more soil, making sure it was snug and secure.

Now, here comes the fun part – the self-watering bit! The pot came with this separate reservoir thing. The idea is you fill that up with water, and it slowly feeds the plant. I filled it up, not too much, just until I saw the water level was enough. And I put it into the pot that under the soil.

  • Fill the ceramic pot with some soil.
  • Carefully place the plant into the pot.
  • Fill in around the plant with more soil.
  • Fill the water reservoir and place it in the bottom of the pot.

Setting it up and seeing if it works

After setting everything up, I placed my new self-watering planter on a sunny windowsill in my living room. I was pretty stoked to see how this thing would work. I checked the water level in the reservoir every couple of days. To my surprise, it was slowly going down, which meant the plant was drinking!

The best part? My succulent looks happy and healthy! It’s been a few weeks now, and I haven’t had to water it once. This self-watering thing actually works! I’m definitely going to get more of these planters for my other plants. It’s just so much easier than constantly having to remember to water them. Plus, they look pretty stylish, too. I saw some other brands like DECOPOTS and SUNNOW, and they had some really nice looking ones, I might try those next time, maybe the Boho Ceramic. I also saw some on sale, one was like $16.99, and a pack of 3 was $59.99. There is also the elongated one like the brand Gardenbasix. That price is around $24.99. They look good but I prefer the round ones. I saw some listings with tags like “Ceramic” and “Plant”, which is how I initially found these things.

Anyway, if you’re like me and sometimes forget to water your plants, or if you just want something that makes plant care a little easier, you should totally try these out! They are pretty cheap.
