Okay, let’s talk about my little gardening adventure today with these rose gloves.
So, I decided it was time to get serious about protecting my hands while tending to my roses. I mean, I love my flowers, but those thorns? Not so much. So, I went on a hunt for some good quality rose gardening gloves. After checking out a bunch of options online, I found a few promising ones on Etsy and eBay. You know, the usual places. Ended up grabbing a pair made from goatskin – apparently, those are super thorn-resistant. Figured it was worth a shot, right?

First Try
-
When they arrived, I was pretty stoked. They felt sturdy and looked like they could actually handle some serious thorns. I slipped them on and they fit pretty well. Not too tight, not too loose.

First test: pruning the rose bushes. I dove right in, and you know what? Those gloves worked like a charm! I could grab the stems, snip away, and not feel a thing. No more getting poked every five seconds. It was a game-changer, seriously.
More Than Thorns
But it’s not just about thorns. I also realized these gloves are great for other stuff in the garden. Like when I’m dealing with fertilizers and those chemical things. I used to be all careless, but now I put these gloves on, and I feel way safer. No more worrying about weird stuff getting on my skin.
My Collection
After that I ordered two more pairs of gloves from the same place. I’ve started a little collection of different types of gardening gloves. Even got some of those knit ones for quick jobs, like deadheading the roses.
Honestly, these gloves have made gardening so much more enjoyable. My hands are happy, and my roses are looking better than ever. If you’re into gardening, especially roses, do yourself a favor and get some decent gloves. It’s totally worth it!
That’s it, just wanted to share my little glove story. It might seem like a small thing, but trust me, it makes a big difference. Happy gardening, everyone!
