Well, let me tell you, these young folks nowadays, they all want them green things in their houses. Houseplants, they call ’em. Gotta have the right tools, though. Just like anything else, you gotta have the right tools to get the job done right. My grandpappy, bless his soul, always said that. He was a farmer, you know. He know about grow thing. Now, these plants, they ain’t much different, I reckon. They need a little help too. These tools for houseplants is very important. You want your plants live long, you need these tools.

First thing you gonna need is somethin’ to give ’em water. A watering can, that’s what they call it. Fancy name for somethin’ to pour water, if you ask me. But you can’t just use any old thing. Gotta get one with a long, skinny spout. So you can reach in there and water the dirt, not the leaves. Water on the leaves, that’s no good. Might make ’em sick. Yeah, a good watering can make you water plants easier. Also, make sure you water plants at right time, not too much, not too little.

And then you need somethin’ to put the dirt in, right? Pots, they call ’em. All different kinds of pots. Big ones, little ones, some made of clay, some made of that plastic stuff. Make sure your pot have holes in the bottom, let water go out. These pots is important tools for houseplants. If you do not have good pots, your plants maybe die. Make sure buy good pots for your plants.

  • Get a good pot, I say.
  • Make sure it’s got holes for the water to drain out.
  • Don’t want no soggy roots!

Now, sometimes these plants, they get a little crowded in their pots. Their roots, they get all tangled up. Then you gotta move ’em to a bigger pot. Transplanting, they call it. For that, you need a little shovel. A trowel, I think is the fancy word. Just a little one, though. Not like the big ones you use out in the garden. Just somethin’ to loosen up the dirt around the edges. These trowel is a good tools for houseplants. You can use this to dig.

Sometimes, you gotta give these plants a little haircut, too. Just like me, gettin’ my hair trimmed at the beauty parlor. They get these brown leaves, or they get too leggy. Then you need some snippers. Pruning shears, that’s what the fancy folks call ’em. Just little ones, though. You ain’t cuttin’ down a tree, just a little snip here and there. This is also very important tools for houseplants. You can use it cut dead leaves.

Spray bottle, also need one. Some plants like it humid, like that bathroom. So you gotta give ’em a little misting every now and then. Just a little spray, not too much. You can also spray water to clean leaves, make them looks good. This spray bottle is a useful tools for houseplants. You can buy it anywhere.

Now, some plants, they need extra food. Fertilizer, they call it. Comes in a bottle, or sometimes little sticks you poke in the dirt. Just gotta be careful with that stuff. Too much can burn the roots, they say. Not all plants need this. Some plants just need water and sun. If you do not know, ask people. Make sure do not use too much Fertilizer. This could kill plants.

If you want start with a plant, you can try pothos, this is easy to grow. Also snake plant, also easy one. They do not need much water, also do not need much sun. If you forget water them, they will be fine. These are good for people who are new to this. These two plants also very cheap, you can buy them in many place. These two plants also have many different looks, some green, some have yellow on leaves.

A rake also very good. You can use this make soil flat. You can also make a hole, then put plant inside. After that you cover the hole. Then your plant is planted. This is a big tool, not like trowel. A good rake can make you plant easy. I use this one a lot when I was young. Make sure you know how to use this before you use it.

Pitchfork, another good tool for your plants. It can make your soil not that hard. Hard soil is not good for plants. You need make it soft, so plant can grow. You also can use it mix soil with food for plants. This also not a small tool. You need know how to use it. This tools is not just for houseplants, also for outside plants. If you have a big garden, you must have this one.

So there you have it. All the things you need to keep them houseplants happy. It ain’t rocket science, just need the right tools for houseplants and a little common sense. And maybe a little bit of love. Plants like that, too, you know. Just like people. They like a little attention. And don’t forget, always talk to your plants. They like that. My grandma always talk to her plants, they grow very well. She said that make plants happy. Maybe you can try too.
