Alright, let’s talk about my trip out to 1250 Waters Place, Tower 2 in the Bronx. Had a meeting scheduled there, so I figured I’d document the process of actually getting there and what it was like.
Getting There
Decided to take public transport, which is usually my go-to in the city. Hopped on the subway, the 6 train specifically, heading uptown. Got off and then had to figure out the connecting bus situation. Could have walked, but it looked like a bit of a hike from the station, especially since I wasn’t exactly sure where Tower 2 was within that whole complex.

The bus ride was okay, pretty standard. Dropped me off relatively close, but then came the fun part – finding Tower 2.
Finding the Building
This Waters Place area, the Hutchinson Metro Center, it’s quite spread out. Lots of similar-looking buildings. Saw signs for different towers and businesses.
- Walked past Tower 1 first.
- Kept my eyes peeled for signs pointing specifically to Tower 2.
- Finally spotted it. It’s clearly marked, but you gotta pay attention because the layout can be a little confusing if it’s your first time.
Tower 2 itself looked pretty modern, lots of glass. Definitely has that corporate park vibe, you know? Clean, kinda sterile, but professional.
Inside Tower 2
Went into the lobby. It was fairly busy, people coming and going. Security desk right there, standard procedure. Signed in, told them who I was there to see. They gave me a visitor pass and pointed me towards the elevators.
The elevator was quick. Got up to the floor I needed. The office space itself, well, it looked like most office spaces. Nothing too crazy to report there. Just standard desks, cubicles, meeting rooms. Did my meeting, which went fine.
Leaving and Final Thoughts
Getting out was easier, obviously. Just retraced my steps. Back to the bus stop, then connected to the subway again. The whole trip took a decent chunk of my day, mostly because of the travel time to that part of the Bronx.
Overall, the place itself, 1250 Waters Place Tower 2, is just a modern office building in a large complex. Getting there requires a bit of planning, especially with public transport. It wasn’t a bad experience, just something you gotta budget time for. It’s definitely a business hub, not really a place you’d just wander around for fun, I guess. Felt pretty self-contained. Job done, got it checked off the list.
