Today, I wanna talk about how I cleaned my gloves. It was a bit of a mess, but I figured it out, and I’m here to share the whole process with you guys.
Get Ready
First, I grabbed all the stuff I needed. This included the dirty gloves, of course, a bucket, some mild soap, and a soft brush. Oh, and some warm water. Gotta have that warm water, you know?

The Cleaning Process
I filled the bucket with warm water and added a little bit of the soap. I didn’t want to use too much soap because I was afraid it might damage the gloves or make them all stiff. I swirled the water around to make sure the soap was all mixed in.
Then, I put the gloves into the soapy water. I let them soak for a bit, maybe around 10 minutes or so. I figured this would help loosen up any dirt or grime that was stuck on them. After the soak, I took the soft brush and gently scrubbed the gloves. I made sure to get into all the little nooks and crannies. Gloves are normally used to protect the hands, so they can get pretty nasty sometimes.
- Soak the gloves in the soapy water.
- Scrub gently with a soft brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Rinse and Dry
Once I was satisfied with the scrubbing, I emptied the bucket and filled it with clean water. I rinsed the gloves several times to make sure all the soap was gone. You don’t want any soap residue left on your gloves, trust me.
After rinsing, I gently squeezed out the excess water from the gloves. I didn’t wring them out because I didn’t want to damage the material or misshape them. Then, I laid them flat on a clean towel to air dry. I made sure they were in a well-ventilated area, but not in direct sunlight, because I heard that can damage the gloves too.
All Done!
It took a while for them to dry completely, but it was worth it. My gloves are now clean and ready to be used again. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out, and I’m glad I took the time to clean them properly. They look almost new now, not gonna lie!
Anyway, that’s my experience with cleaning gloves. Hope this is helpful for someone out there. Catch you guys later!
