Well, lemme tell ya, I seen a thing or two in my time. These days, folks got all sorts of fancy things. Like these plant dusting gloves. What in tarnation is that, ya ask? Well, it’s gloves, for dustin’ your plants. Yep, you heard me right. Plants.
My old hands used to do just fine with a rag, but these young folks, they like their gadgets. They need the best plant dusting gloves. They always want the best. Back in my day, best was just having a warm meal.

Why Use Plant Dusting Gloves?
I guess these plant dusting gloves are supposed to be all soft and gentle-like. Don’t wanna hurt them precious leaves. They say it helps the plants breathe better. Like they got little lungs or somethin’. Me, I just used to blow on ’em. Worked just fine. These new gloves, they are microfiber. They use them to clean other things too, but for plants, they say you need the right kind. Don’t want to scratch the leaves.
These gloves, they come in different sizes, too. Big ones, little ones. Just like regular gloves, I reckon. But for plants. Seems a bit silly to me, but what do I know? I’m just an old lady with a lifetime of knowin’ what work.
Lots of Plant Dusting Gloves!
They got all kinds of these plant gloves now. I seen ’em online. Some are real cheap, like seven dollars or somethin’. Others, well, they cost more than my Sunday best dress! Almost thirty dollars for a pair of gloves to dust plants! Can you believe it? These young’uns and their money, they just throw it away. Some are really thick plant dusting gloves, some are just regular. Some are good for houseplants, some for plants outside. It is hard to pick!
- Cheap plant dusting gloves – ’bout seven dollars
- Fancy plant dusting gloves – nearly thirty dollars!
- Thick ones
- Thin ones
And they got different names for ’em, too. “Evridwear” and “Leopong” and such. Sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me. But I guess if you’re into that sort of thing, it matters. They even got special wipes, too. Like baby wipes, but for plants. Lord have mercy.
How to Pick Good Plant Dusting Gloves?
I don’t see how anyone picks anything these days. Too many choices. If you ask me, a good pair of gloves is a good pair of gloves. But these people, they compare and they contrast. They do research and look at reviews. Then they go on about which one is the best and why. Makes my head spin. There is so much to compare.
They say you gotta find the “best value” and the “best overall.” Like it’s some kinda contest. I say, just pick a pair and get on with it. They all gonna get dirty anyway. Just make sure they are soft. The plants will thank you for it, I reckon. It is supposed to help them grow.
Using Plant Dusting Gloves
Well, from what I gather, you just put ’em on like any other glove. Then you gently wipe the leaves. Don’t go scrubbin’ like you’re cleanin’ the outhouse floor. Just a little wipe, that’s all they need. Then you take ’em off and shake ’em out. Don’t put them in the washer. Just shake out the dust. They are just like regular gloves in that way. Easy peasy.
I suppose it’s a nice way to spend some time with your plants. Talk to ’em a little, tell ’em your troubles. They don’t judge. These gloves make it easier to clean them, I guess. More gentle. But you still gotta talk to them, right? Plants like that.
So there you have it. Plant dusting gloves. A whole new world of fancy things for plants. Maybe I’ll give ’em a try sometime. Might make my old hands feel a little less achy. Or maybe I’ll just stick to my trusty old rag. We’ll see. Either way, those plants are gonna get dusted, one way or another. That’s just how it is. If you want to keep your plants clean, you gotta dust them. These gloves seem to be an easier way to do it. Maybe the best way? You gotta decide for yourself.
Anyways, these newfangled plant dusting gloves ain’t so bad, I reckon. Just another thing these young folks come up with. Keeps ’em busy, I suppose. And if it makes the plants happy, well, who am I to argue? Just don’t forget to water ’em, too. That’s the important part. You can have all the fancy gloves you want, but if you don’t water them plants, they ain’t gonna last long, gloves or no gloves. Yep, you still gotta water them. And give them some sun. That is what plants like.
