Okay, so I had this idea to make a cool, kinda weird planter. I called it the “ss flowerpot shovelhead bowl” in my head because, well, it uses parts that kinda look like those things. Here’s how the whole thing went down:
First, I gathered all my junk. I mean, materials. I had:
- An old stainless steel (ss) bowl – the kind you mix stuff in.
- A broken shovel – the head part was still good, just the handle was busted.
- Some flowerpot,the style doesn’t matter.
Next up I cleaned all up.
- Make the old bowl shine.
- The shovelhead needed a good scrub,because it had rust and dirt, I used a wire brush to knock off the loose stuff.
The Build
Step one, figure out the base, and overturned the flowerpot as a base.
Step two, the shovelhead. I put it upside down on the flowerpot. It looked kinda cool, like a weird, industrial mushroom.
Step three, I put the ss bowl on the shovelhead part. Because the shovelhead has that curve, the bowl kinda nestled in there nicely. It wasn’t super stable, but good enough.
Finally, I put the flower in the bowl.
I’m no gardener, but I’m pretty happy with my weird little “ss flowerpot shovelhead bowl” creation. It’s definitely… unique, and I think all of these are perfectly in right place!
