Hey everyone, so I’ve been wanting to jazz up my living room with some greenery, and I finally took the plunge and got myself a 30-inch plant stand. Let me tell you, it was a bit of an adventure getting it all set up, but so worth it!
First off, I started hunting for the perfect stand. I spent hours browsing online, checking out different stores. I knew I needed something sturdy that could hold a decent-sized pot, and I also wanted it to look nice, you know? After comparing tons of options, considering the size, what they were made of, and how many plants they could hold, I finally found one that ticked all the boxes. It’s a two-tiered metal stand, pretty simple but sleek.

Next up, getting my hands on it. I placed the order and waited. The delivery guy came a few days later, and there it was, in a surprisingly compact box. Unpacking it was like a mini workout! Then came the fun part – assembly. The instructions were a bit wonky, but I managed to put it together after some trial and error.
Choosing the Right Spot
- Figuring out placement: This was crucial. I tried it in a few different spots in my living room, moving it around until I found the perfect corner. I wanted it to get enough light but not be in the way.
Then, the plants! I already had a big ol’ snake plant that was begging for a new home, so I carefully repotted it into a nice ceramic pot that would fit on the stand. Getting it onto the stand was a bit of a struggle, it’s heavier than it looks! But with a little help from my roommate, we got it up there.
I also picked up a smaller spider plant to put on the lower tier. I thought having two different types of plants at different heights would look cool. After settling them in, I gave them both a good watering.
Now, every time I walk into my living room, I can’t help but smile. It’s amazing how much of a difference a simple plant stand and a couple of plants can make. It really brightens up the space and makes it feel so much more alive. Plus, it’s kind of like having a little piece of nature indoors, which is awesome.
If you are looking for space saving design, this is a good way for you. I used a stool for this one, and it worked well.
Honestly, if you’re thinking about getting a plant stand, just do it! It’s a small change, but it can totally transform a room. Just be prepared for a little bit of work getting it set up, but trust me, it’s totally worth the effort. Happy planting, folks!
