Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my garden lately, and I wanted to try out this Sunnyland fertilizer with pesticides. I’d heard mixed things, you know? Some people swear by it, others say it’s overkill. But my tomatoes were getting munched on, and my roses looked sad, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
Getting Started
First, I read the instructions. Like, really read them. Not just a skim. This stuff has chemicals, so you gotta be careful. I put on my gardening gloves, and long sleeves.

Mixing it Up
The instructions said to mix a certain amount with water. I used an old bucket that I only use for gardening stuff and followed it.
Applying the Stuff
I used a watering can, the kind with the long spout, to get the mixture right at the base of the plants. I didn’t want to just spray it everywhere, especially since it has pesticide. I focused on the plants that were having problems – my tomatoes mostly.
- Tomatoes, specially base of the plants, avoiding leaves if possible.
- Rose, arround base.
The Waiting Game
Now, it’s a waiting game. I watered everything else like normal, and I’m keeping an eye on the plants. The package said it might take a few days to see a difference, both in terms of the plants looking healthier and the pests being gone.
I will keep on eye on it.
Initial Thoughts
Honestly, it was pretty easy to use. The hardest part was just making sure I followed the directions carefully. I’m a little nervous about using pesticides, but I figure if I’m careful and don’t overdo it, it should be okay. I’ll have to update later on whether it actually worked or not! Fingers crossed my tomatoes make a comeback!
