Okay, so the other day I got this 5 blade herb scissors, and let me tell you, it’s kinda cool. I mean, I’ve seen regular scissors, but five blades? That’s something else. So, I got this thing out of the package, and my first thought was, “How the heck do I use this?”
First things first, I made sure the blades were all clean and shiny. No one wants dirty scissors, right? Then I grabbed a bunch of fresh parsley from my little herb garden. I usually just chop them up with a knife, but I was excited to try out these new scissors.

I held the parsley in one hand and the scissors in the other. I started snipping away, and oh boy, it was kinda fun! It felt like I was a super-fast chef or something. The parsley got chopped up way quicker than with a knife, and the pieces were all nice and even. It felt like it saved me a lot of time.
- Cleaning, though, that’s a whole other story.
- It’s a pain to clean between each of those five blades.
- I had to get in there with a toothpick to get all the little bits of parsley out.
So, if you’re just cutting up a small bit of herbs to sprinkle on your dish, these scissors are great. But if you’ve got a big batch to chop, maybe stick to your knife unless you enjoy cleaning for ages.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the 5 blade herb scissors. It’s a cool gadget, but be ready for some cleaning work.
