Okay, so this morning, I had this really vivid dream about watering plants. It got me thinking, maybe I should actually try doing it for real, not just in dreamland. So, I decided to give it a go and document the whole thing.
Getting Started
First things first, I gathered my supplies. I didn’t have much, to be honest. I found an old watering can in the shed – it was pretty dusty, but it would do the job. I also grabbed a small bucket to fill with water from the outside tap.

- Old watering can
- Small bucket
- Water (obviously!)
The Watering Process
I headed out to my little garden patch. I’ve got a few sad-looking tomato plants and some herbs that could definitely use some love. I filled the bucket with water – it was freezing cold! Then, I carefully poured the water into the watering can. It was heavier than I expected!
I started with the tomato plants. I gently sprinkled the water around the base of each plant, making sure not to drown them. The soil was super dry, so it soaked up the water pretty quickly. I could almost hear the plants saying “thank you!” (Okay, maybe not, but you know what I mean).
Next up were the herbs. I gave them a good watering too, being extra careful with the smaller ones. They seemed to perk up right away, which was pretty satisfying to see.
The Aftermath
After I finished watering, I stood back and admired my handiwork. It wasn’t much, but it felt good to do something productive, something real, something that made a * plants looked happier, and honestly, I felt happier too. It’s amazing how such a simple act can be so rewarding.
I cleaned up my watering can and bucket, put them back in the shed, and went inside, feeling pretty pleased with myself. Maybe this whole “watering plants” thing is something I should do more often, both in my dreams and in real life.
