Let me tell you, I had this wild idea to start a little garden in my backyard. Figured it’d be nice to have some fresh veggies, you know? So, first thing I did was grab my trusty gardening shovel spade. Thing’s been with me for ages, seen a lot of dirt, that one.
Anyway, I got out there, found a sunny spot, and started digging. Now, the ground was kinda hard, so I had to put some muscle into it. I pressed down on the end of the shovel, really pushed it into the ground, and then lifted up the soil.

- First, I made a little outline of where I wanted my garden to be.
- Then, I just started digging, one shovelful at a time.
- It was tough work, I’m not gonna lie. But, I kept at it.
Getting It Done
After a while, I had a nice little patch of dirt all dug up. Then, I mixed in some compost to make the soil all rich and healthy. That shovel really came in handy for mixing everything together.
Finally, I planted my seeds – tomatoes, peppers, and some herbs. Watered them good, and now I’m just waiting. It’s kinda exciting, watching those little plants grow. And it all started with that trusty shovel spade. I’ll keep using it to maintain my garden, such as weeding and more planting. Wouldn’t have been able to do it without that thing, that’s for sure.
