Flowerpot VP9: Everything You Need to Know in Simple Terms
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Alright, let’s talk about this here flowerpot VP9 thingamajig. I ain’t no fancy expert, mind you, just a plain ol’ woman tryin’ to make sense of it all, ya hear?

First off, this thing, it’s a lamp. A fancy one, I guess, but still just a lamp. They say it was made back in 1968 by some fella named Verner Panton. Never heard of him, but he musta been somethin’ special to make a lamp that people still talk about.

Now, this ain’t your regular plug-in-the-wall lamp. This here flowerpot VP9, it’s got a battery, see? You gotta charge it up with a little wire thingy, like them phones the young’uns are always fiddlin’ with. They call it a micro USB cable, sounds fancy, but it’s just a wire, far as I can tell.

And get this, you can dim it! Like, make it brighter or darker, whatever you want. They say it’s got three settings: 20%, 50%, and 100%. Don’t ask me what the percentages mean, I just know you can make it brighter or dimmer. That’s pretty neat, I gotta say. If you keep it on the dimmest setting, they say the battery lasts for a whole 20 hours! That’s a long time, even for an old woman like me.

  • Charging: Plug that little wire into the lamp, then plug the other end into somethin’ that gives it power. You’ll see a little red light when it’s chargin’.
  • Brightness: Just tap it, and it gets brighter or dimmer. Easy peasy.
  • Battery Life: Brighter it is, faster the battery goes. Dimmer it is, longer it lasts. Simple as that.

They say this flowerpot VP9 lamp was first made for restaurants and shows. Guess them city folks like fancy things. But now, you can get one for your own house, if you’re so inclined. It’s kinda small, smaller than another lamp they call VP3. Don’t ask me, I can’t tell them apart.

Now, there’s somethin’ else they call a flowerpot, and it ain’t no lamp. It’s some kinda contraption for smokin’… somethin’. They call it a “vaporizer.” I ain’t gonna pretend I know what that means, but it sounds like somethin’ the young folks do. This “vaporizer” thing, it comes in different pieces, and you can put it together however you want. Sounds complicated, if you ask me.

So, if you’re lookin’ for a flowerpot VP9, make sure you know what you’re gettin’. You want the lamp, the one designed by that Verner Panton fella back in ’68? Or you want that smokin’ contraption? Two different things altogether, even though they got the same name. Makes no sense to me, but that’s how it is.

This flowerpot VP9 lamp, it seems safe enough. They got instructions and all, tellin’ you how to use it right. Says you gotta read ’em carefully and keep ’em for later, just in case. Common sense, really. Don’t go messin’ with somethin’ you don’t understand, that’s what I always say.

They also talk about a replacement battery, in case the one it comes with goes bad. You gotta buy that separate, though. And it seems like it can be used outside, seein’ as they call it an “outdoor light” sometimes. Must be pretty tough, then.

And wouldn’t you know it, they make this lamp in all sorts of colors. Stylish, they call it. I guess that’s important to some folks. And it’s portable, you can carry it around wherever you go. Handy, I suppose, if you need a light in different places.

So, there you have it. Everything I know about this flowerpot VP9 thing. It’s a lamp, it’s got a battery, it dims, and it comes in different colors. And there’s another thing with the same name that’s used for smokin’. Got it? Good. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about lamps and vaporizers is makin’ my head spin.
