This here light, they call it the Flowerpot VP9, it’s a right fancy thing. Not like them old oil lamps we used to have. This one, you just charge it up like them newfangled phones, and it shines for ya. No more fussin’ with oil and wicks, thank goodness.
This Flowerpot VP9, It’s Somethin’ Else
Ain’t too big, neither. Smaller than some other ones I seen, the VP3, they call ’em. Easy to carry around, this Flowerpot VP9 is. And it’s got one of them USB doohickeys to charge it up. Just plug it in, and a little red light comes on. Means it’s fillin’ up with that electric power.

They say it’s a retro lamp. Now, I don’t know much about retro, but it sure does look nice. Kinda like them old-timey lamps, but without all the mess. This Flowerpot VP9, you can turn the light up or down, too. Dimmable, they call it. Good for when you’re readin’ or just want a little bit of light. And it don’t use no fire, neither, so you don’t gotta worry about burnin’ the house down.

Heard some folks sayin’ this Flowerpot VP9 is right popular. One of them top 100 things you can buy, they say. Don’t know about all that, but it sure is handy. And it ain’t too pricey, neither. ‘Bout a hundred and some odd dollars, I heard. Less than some, more than others. Depends on where you get it, I suppose. They got different prices at different stores. This one place, PriceRunner, they say they got the best price. Don’t know if that’s true, but it’s worth lookin’ into. Klarna and Mohd are two other places I heard that have them.
I seen it in blue, this Flowerpot VP9. Swim blue, they called it. Pretty color, like the sky on a clear day. But I reckon they got other colors, too. And it’s not too tall, neither. 29.5 cm, they say. Whatever that means. Just the right size to put on a table, I reckon. This Tradition Flowerpot VP9 is made by some company called Tradition. Sounds fancy, don’t it? They make all sorts of these Flowerpot VP9 lamps.
Flowerpot VP9, No More Fiddlin’ in the Dark
This Flowerpot VP9, it’ll shine for a good long while, too. They say 10 hours, once you get it all charged up. That’s a long time. Longer than them old oil lamps would last, that’s for sure. You could read a whole book by that light, I bet. It’s bright enough but don’t hurt your eyes neither. This modern stuff is alright, I guess.
And if it breaks, they say they’ll fix it or give you a new one. That’s what they say. Hope I don’t have to find out. Seems like a good strong lamp, this Flowerpot VP9. Should last a good long while. It’s easy to use, too. No need to read no long instructions, just charge it up and turn it on. It is very good for home, this Flowerpot VP9.

It was designed by some fella named Verner Panton. Back in 1968. That is a long time ago! But it still looks good, this Flowerpot VP9. He must have known what he was doing.
This Flowerpot VP9 lamp, it sure beats them old candles and oil lamps. Don’t have to worry about no fire, and it’s easy to move around. Just charge it up, and you’re good to go.
