Flowerpot B1: Whats the Best Way to Use It?

Okay, so I finally got my hands on the Flowerpot B1. I’d heard a lot about this thing, and I was super pumped to try it out. It arrived last week, and I’ve been messing around with it ever since. Here’s the deal.

First off, unpacking this thing was like Christmas morning. Everything was packed so neatly. I got the B1 head, a bunch of those little ruby balls, a stand, and some other bits and pieces. I immediately filled the head with the 3mm ruby balls. I’ve heard some folks use 4mm, but I figured I’d start with what it came with.

Setting it up was a breeze. I connected the head to my PID controller (I’m using an Auber PID, by the way), plugged everything in, and set the temperature to 600 degrees. Some people online were saying they go as low as 450, but I wanted a good, solid hit. I let it heat up for a few minutes, just to make sure everything was nice and toasty.

Loading the bowl was simple enough. I’ve got a couple of extra bowls and some screens, which is definitely the way to go. It makes swapping strains and cleaning up so much easier. I ground up some of my favorite flower, packed it into the bowl, and placed the B1 head on top.

Now, the moment of truth. I took my first draw, and whoa, this thing hits hard! The airflow is super open, almost too open. I might try those 4mm balls later to see if that restricts it a bit, but honestly, even with the wide-open airflow, the vapor production was insane. Huge clouds, I mean, I was coughing like a noob.

The flavor? Amazing. I could really taste all the terpenes. It was clean, pure, and just delicious. I played around with the temperature a bit, dropping it down to 590, and I noticed the flavor got even better, but the clouds were a little less dense, of course.

I’ve been using the B1 for a few days now, and I’m totally sold. It’s easy to use, it hits like a truck, and the flavor is top-notch. I’m still experimenting with different temperatures and setups. I even had a crazy idea about using it in another way, but I’ll have to tinker with that some more before I share it.

Here’s my take after using it for a few days:

  • Setup: Super easy. Even for a klutz like me.
  • Temperature: 590-610 degrees seems to be the sweet spot for me, but I like to play around with it.
  • Airflow: Wide open, which I like. Might try 4mm balls later to see if it changes anything.
  • Vapor: Thick, dense clouds. Cough-inducing for sure!
  • Flavor: Out of this world. Seriously, so tasty.

So, yeah, the Flowerpot B1 is definitely a keeper. It’s become my go-to for sure. If you’re on the fence, just do it. You won’t regret it.
