Flowerpot B-Zero Review: Is This Planter Worth It?

Alright, folks, let’s dive into my little project: the “flowerpot b-zero”. I wanted something, you know, kinda minimalist but still cool for my desk.

First, I brainstormed. I knew I wanted a flowerpot, and I knew I liked that clean, almost industrial look. “b-zero” just popped into my head – sounds kinda techy, right?

Then I grabbed some basic materials. I had this old, plain ceramic pot lying around. White, boring. I also had some leftover black spray paint from another project. Perfect!

The Messy Part

  • I took the pot outside. Important! Spray paint indoors is a no-no.
  • I cleaned the pot. Gotta get rid of any dust or dirt so the paint sticks properly.
  • I started spraying. Thin, even coats. That’s the key. Don’t go crazy, or you’ll get drips.
  • I waited. Patience is a virtue, especially with spray paint. Let each coat dry completely before the next.
  • I did another coat.

    I did a third.

After like three coats, it was looking good. Solid black, nice and even. I let it dry overnight, just to be sure.

The Finishing Touches

The next day, I took a look. It was almost there, but it needed something… extra. I had some of those white, chalk-style pens. I thought, “Why not?”

I carefully drew a simple “b-zero” on the side. Not perfect, a bit wobbly, but that’s okay. It gives it character, right? Hand-made, not mass-produced.

Finally, I added my plant. A little succulent. It fits the vibe perfectly. Low-maintenance, just like the whole project.

And that’s it! My flowerpot b-zero. It’s not going to win any design awards, but I like it. It’s simple, it’s mine, and it was a fun little way to spend an afternoon.
