Okay, so my pothos was looking a little sad, not as vibrant as it used to be. I figured it was time to give it a little boost, you know? So, I decided to fertilize it. Here’s how I did it:
Getting Ready
- First, I grabbed my liquid *’s easy for pothos.
- Because my pothos is not placed at direct sunlight, I choose the half-strength.
Mixing It Up
- I read the instructions, and mixed 3 part fertilizer,1part and 2 part . Always do!
- I used an old water bottle to mix it all.
Feeding Time
- I made sure the soil was a bit damp first, didn’t want to shock the roots, you know!
- Then, I carefully poured the fertilizer mix around the base of the plant, making sure not to splash any on the leaves. I just slowly watered the plant until I saw a little bit of the mix drain out the bottom.
Waiting Game
- Now, I just gotta wait and see.I don’t plan to fertilize again for maybe another 4-6 weeks.
- Pothos are the low-maintenance type, so less is often more.
I made a note on my calendar to remind myself when I did it. Hope this helps my pothos. I’ll do it again in a few weeks!
