Fertilizer Blue for Your Garden: A Simple Guide to Lush Plants

Okay, so the other day I was messing around in the garden, and I got this wild idea about making my own “fertilizer blue.” Sounds kinda weird, I know, but stick with me.

First, I gathered all my stuff. I had some leftover coffee grounds from breakfast – figured those would be good. Then, I grabbed some eggshells I’d been saving and crushed them up real fine. I also found some old banana peels that were looking pretty sad and chopped those up, too.

My Little Experiment

  • Coffee grounds (used, of course)
  • Eggshells (crushed like powder)
  • Banana peels (chopped small)

I dumped everything into this old bucket I had lying around. Then I added a bunch of water, just enough to get everything good and soaked. It looked like a nasty soup, honestly. Not something you’d want to eat, that’s for sure.

Next, I stirred it all up. I mean, I really mixed it good, making sure everything was combined. It was a bit smelly, but hey, it’s fertilizer, right? It’s supposed to stink a little.

Then came the waiting game. I covered the bucket with a lid – didn’t want any critters getting in there – and stuck it in a corner of the garden. I figured it needed some time to, you know, “brew” or whatever.

Every couple of days, I’d go out there and give it a good stir. The smell got a little stronger, but I figured that was a good sign. Things were happening in there!

After about a week, I decided it was time. I took my concoction and poured some around the base of my tomato plants. They were looking a bit droopy, so I was hoping this would give them a boost.

I checked my plants,it really works! I am happy to see that!

So, that’s my “fertilizer blue” story. Maybe not the prettiest name, but it seems to be doing the trick! Gonna keep using it and see what happens.
