Alright, let’s talk about these three bladed scissors, you know, the ones they say are so fancy for crafting and stuff. I ain’t no fancy pants, but I do know a thing or two about cutting stuff up.
First off, what in the tarnation are three blades for anyway? Back in my day, we had one, maybe two blades if you were lucky. And we got by just fine, thank you very much. I reckon these newfangled scissors are for all them folks who like to make things all pretty and precise. Like them scrapbookers, they cut all them little pictures and stick ‘em in books. Waste of time if you ask me, but to each their own, I guess.

Now, I saw some of these scissors online, they call them “craft scissors”. They got all sorts of names, like “titanium nonstick stainless steel blades” – sounds mighty impressive, don’t it? But is it really better than good old steel? I ain’t so sure. They say these fancy blades are good for cutting paper, cardboard, cloth, even wire! Well, I’ve cut all them things with my regular old scissors and never had a problem. Maybe I’m just tougher, or maybe these new scissors are just a way to get you to spend more money. You know how them city folk are, always trying to sell you something you don’t need.
Then there’s these herb scissors, with five blades even! Five blades! What in the world do you need five blades for to cut up some cilantro? I just use my old kitchen knife, chop, chop, chop, and it’s done. These herb scissors, they look like something a fancy chef would use, not a regular person like me. They say it’s a “cool kitchen gadget”, but I reckon my old knife is cool enough for me. It gets the job done, and that’s all that matters.
Speaking of kitchen scissors, them are different from the crafting ones, you know. Kitchen scissors are for heavier stuff, like cutting chicken bones or opening packages. You wouldn’t want to use your fancy crafting scissors for that, no sir! You’d ruin them for sure. And don’t even think about using them kitchen scissors to cut your hair! I heard tell that hairdressing scissors are super sharp and special, made for cutting hair without tearing it. If you use kitchen scissors on your hair, you’ll end up with a mess, looking like a scarecrow. Believe me, I’ve seen it happen. My neighbor’s girl tried it once… oh, the horror!
Now, I did see some scissors that looked kinda useful, the ones with the soft grip handles. My hands ain’t what they used to be, you know, all achy and stiff. So a soft grip might be nice. But then again, I reckon if you can’t handle regular scissors, maybe you shouldn’t be cutting stuff up in the first place. That’s what I always say.
Anyways, these scissors, they come in all shapes and sizes, it’s enough to make your head spin. Some are big, some are small, some are pointy, some are round. It’s all a bit much, if you ask me. I like to keep things simple. One good pair of scissors, that’s all you need. You don’t need all them fancy blades and handles and whatnots. Just a good old pair that cuts straight and true. That’s the way I see it.
But hey, if you like them fancy scissors, go ahead and buy ‘em. It ain’t my money you’re spending. Just don’t come crying to me when you can’t figure out how to use them, or when they break because you tried to cut something too tough. I’ll just say “I told you so” and go back to my trusty old pair, the ones that have never let me down.
And one more thing, be careful with them scissors, especially if you got young’uns around. Scissors are sharp, and they can hurt you if you ain’t careful. Always put them away when you’re done using them, and don’t let the little ones play with them. That’s just common sense, but you’d be surprised how many folks don’t have any of that these days.

So there you have it, my two cents on them three bladed scissors and all the other fancy cutting contraptions out there. Take it or leave it, it’s up to you. But remember, sometimes the simplest things are the best. And a good old pair of scissors, well, that’s hard to beat. Just like good old common sense, ain’t it?
- Choosing the Right Scissors: There are many types, from craft to kitchen to hair scissors.
- Number of Blades: More blades aren’t always better; it depends on what you need to cut.
- Material and Quality: Look for durable materials, but don’t always fall for fancy names.
- Handle Comfort: Consider a soft grip if you have hand issues.
