Okay, so I’ve been trying to conceive for a while now, and it’s been a real rollercoaster. I started digging into things that might help, and I kept seeing stuff about vitamin B6, so I was like, “Alright, let’s give this a shot.”
My B6 Journey
First, I did some basic research. I didn’t want to just start popping pills without knowing anything. I read some articles, and I checked out a few forums where people were talking about B6 and fertility. It seemed like it could help with a few things, like regulating hormones and maybe even improving the quality of the cervical mucus. I wasn’t expecting a miracle, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to try.

So, I went to the store and grabbed a bottle of B6 supplements. I made sure to get a reputable brand, nothing too fancy, just a basic B6 vitamin.I chose a B6 that was 50mg, just to be on the safe side.
- Started taking the B6 daily with my breakfast.
- Kept track of my cycle, like I usually do.
- Tried not to get my hopes up too much, you know?
The first month, nothing really changed. I wasn’t surprised, though. I knew it wasn’t going to be an overnight thing. I kept taking the B6 every day, just like before.
The second month I started noticeing that my usual premenstrual symptoms,PMS, were a little less intense. I was a less irritable, which was a win for both me and my partner! I also noticed that my cervical mucus, which I was checking to find my ovulation time, seemed a bit… friendlier, if you know what I mean. It was a little stretchier and more abundant.
I didn’t get pregnant that second month,I still kept up with the B6. I was feeling pretty good about it, even if it wasn’t the main goal, those PMS improvements were definitely a plus.
It’s still early days, but I’m feeling hopeful. Adding B6 to my routine feels like I’m doing something, even if it’s just a small thing. It’s become part of my daily routine now, and I’m planning to keep it up.
This B6 thing? It might be helping, might not be. But hey, every little bit counts, right? And if it can make that time of the month a little easier, I’m all for it.
