Okay, so I’ve been getting into gardening lately, it’s, like, my new thing. And let me tell you, my hands were taking a beating. I was getting all these little cuts and my nails were, ugh, a mess. A friend of mine, she’s a total green thumb, told me I needed some good gardening gloves. She swore by these things called “Foxgloves.”
So, I did what anyone does these days, looked them up online. I saw a bunch of different kinds, but settled on a pair of these Foxgloves Original. Figured I’d start with the basics, you know? They had some other ones with these weird silicone things on them, but I wanted to keep it simple at first.

When they got here, I slipped them on and, whoa, they fit like a dream! Seriously, it felt like I wasn’t even wearing gloves. I could still feel everything I was touching, which was super important for me. I hate that clunky feeling with some gloves, you know?
What I did
- Planted some flowers: I got down and dirty, digging in the soil, planting some new flowers. These gloves totally protected my hands from getting all scratched up. And my nails? Spotless!
- Pruned my rose bushes: Now, this was the real test. Those thorns are no joke. Usually, I’d end up with a bunch of little pricks, but not this time. These gloves are tough enough that those thorns didn’t even faze them.
- Weeding: It was necessary to get down to pull out those weeds. I really went hard on it, but my hands were totally fine afterwards.
- Washed the gloves: After a whole day of gardening, the gloves were pretty dirty. Good news is, you can just toss them in the washing machine! They came out looking brand new.
Honestly, these Foxgloves are a game changer. They’re comfortable, they let you actually feel what you’re doing, and they keep your hands safe. Plus, they’re washable, which is awesome. If you’re into gardening, or even just do some yard work now and then, you gotta check these out. They’re definitely worth it. My hands are thanking me, and I’m pretty sure my plants are happier too, since I’m not, like, stabbing them with dirty fingernails anymore. Haha!
I might even try those fancy silicone ones next time, they seemed could be a good choice. But for now, I’m super happy with these. Gardening just got a whole lot more enjoyable. Happy planting, folks!
