And Tradition Flowerpot Sale: Grab the Best Deals Right Now!

Okay, so I saw this cool idea online about making flowerpots, but like, with a twist. I decided to give it a shot myself, documenting the whole process. Here’s how it went down:

Gathering Supplies

First things first, I needed to get my hands on some stuff. I hit up the local craft store and grabbed:

  • Terracotta pots – you know, the standard ones. I got a few different sizes to experiment.
  • Acrylic paints – a bunch of colors, because why not?
  • Paintbrushes – different sizes for details and larger areas.
  • Some Mod Podge,the glue.

Prepping the Pots

Before I started,I cleaned up the pots.Make sure there is no dust,I did it.

Painting Time!

Now for the fun part! I started by painting the base coats. I used plain white.

After the base coats dried (took a couple of hours, so I grabbed a snack and watched some TV), I started on the designs. Drawing on the pot,I used a pencil.

Sealing the Deal

Once I was completely happy with the designs (and they were totally dry), I sealed everything with a coat of Mod Podge. This is supposed to protect the paint and make the pots more durable, especially if they’re going to be outside.

The Final Result

And… that’s it! It took a bit of time, especially waiting for things to dry, but overall it was a pretty easy and fun project. The pots look way cooler than the plain terracotta ones, that’s for sure.

I’m still deciding what to plant in them. Maybe some succulents? Or herbs? We’ll see! Anyway, I’m pretty stoked with how they turned out. It’s always satisfying to make something with your own hands, you know?
