Alright, so I finally got around to messing with “Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove” version 4.1a. I’ve been meaning to check out the latest updates, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a process, but totally worth it.
First things first, I backed up my old save files. You NEVER want to jump into an update without doing that. Seriously, I learned that the hard way years ago with a different game. Lost like 40 hours of progress. Never again.
I find the 4.1a version from somewhere.
Then came the slightly tricky part. I downloaded the update. I had to do a little digging to find 4.1a.
After the update was done, I copied over my old save files into the new game folder. Thankfully, everything seemed to be in the right place.
Finally, I launched the game. Booted up perfectly! All my old progress was there, and I was ready to check out the new stuff.
Gameplay
After a bit of a bumpy start, I am playing.I dived straight into the latest balance changes. I spent a good few hours just messing around, and Let you konw,I really like this game!
