So, I decided I needed a pizza shovel. Not just any pizza shovel, but a wooden one. I’d been using a metal one, and honestly, it just felt… cold. Plus, I like making stuff. So, wooden pizza shovel it was!
First thing I did was grab some wood. I had a nice piece of hardwood leftover from another project – I think it was maple? Something like that. Anyway, it was already pretty flat, which saved me some work.
Then I sketched out a basic shape on the wood. Just a big, kinda rounded rectangle with a handle. Nothing fancy, I’m no artist. I made sure it was big enough for a decent-sized pizza, you know, the kind you actually want to eat.
