Okay, so yesterday I decided it was finally time to get my hands on some gardening gloves. I’ve been putting it off, but my rose bushes are seriously out of control, and my hands were starting to look like I’d lost a fight with a cat.
Finding the “Pretty”
First things first, I didn’t want those bulky, ugly brown ones. I mean, gardening is supposed to be enjoyable, right? So, I wanted something, you know, pretty. I spent a good hour just browsing online, it is really wasting time!

I looked at all sorts of patterns, floral, stripes. Finally, I chose one I liked.
The Actual Gardening Part
The gloves arrived this morning, and I have to say, they’re even cuter in person! I slipped them on, and they fit perfectly. Not too tight, not too loose, just right.
Then came the real test, the rose bushes. Usually, I’m super careful, trying to avoid the thorns, but it’s pretty much impossible. With these gloves, though? I felt invincible! I grabbed those thorny branches, snipped away at the dead leaves, and pulled out weeds like a pro.
The Results
- My hands are completely unscathed.
- The rose bushes look a million times better.
- I actually enjoyed the process!
Seriously, if you’re into gardening at all, get yourself some good gloves, and don’t be afraid to go for the pretty ones! It actually does change all things!
