Using a 13l Watering Can: Tips for Easy Gardening
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Okay, so the other day, I bought a new watering can. It’s a big one, 13 liters, because I’ve got a ton of plants and I was getting tired of refilling my old, tiny one all the time.

First, I went to the garden center, you know, the one down the street. They had a bunch of different options, but this one caught my eye. It was bright green, plastic, but seemed pretty sturdy. I liked the long spout, too – figured it would be easier to reach the hanging baskets.

I took it home and, of course, the first thing I did was fill it up. Took a bit longer than my old one, naturally, but hey, that’s the point! I added some plant food directly into the water and give it a good stir.

Then, the real test. I carried it out to the garden. It’s definitely heavier than my old one when it’s full, obviously, but the handle was comfortable enough. And the long spout? Perfect! I could water everything without bending over too much, which my back really appreciated.

  • Big capacity means fewer refills.
  • The long spout is a game-changer for those hanging baskets.
  • Feels strong to hold, the plastic body is solid.

It’s only been a few days, but so far, so good. Watering is way faster now, and my plants are definitely happy. This thing is heavy when filled, so make sure before to have a solid grip. Overall, I’m pretty sure I made a good purchase.

Watering My Garden

I filled the watering can. Then, I carefully walked around my garden, making sure to give each plant a good drink. It took a bit of effort to balance the full can, but the even flow from the spout made it easy to control where the water went.
