Alright, let’s talk about how I made this modern planter and stand. I’ve been wanting to spruce up my living room, and I thought, “Why not bring some green inside?” So, I decided to build a planter.

First things first, I needed to figure out what kind of planter I wanted. I looked around on the internet, saw some cool designs, and got a general idea. I knew I wanted something modern looking, but also something that wouldn’t be too hard to put together. I’m no expert carpenter, you know?

Once I had a rough idea, I started gathering materials. This was the fun part. I went to the local hardware store and just browsed around. I ended up picking out some nice-looking wood for the stand and a simple ceramic pot for the planter. I also got some basic tools like a saw, some sandpaper, and some wood glue. Oh, and some wood stain to give it a nice finish.

Next up, the actual building part. I started with the stand. I measured and cut the wood according to the design I had in mind. This part took a while because I kept double-checking everything. I wanted to make sure the pieces fit together perfectly. After cutting, I used sandpaper to smooth out the edges. You don’t want any splinters, right?

Then came the assembly. This was a bit tricky, but with some patience (and a lot of wood glue), I managed to put the stand together. I had to wait for the glue to dry, which felt like forever, but it was worth it. Once it was dry, I applied the wood stain. I chose a dark walnut color because I thought it would look good with my furniture.

The planter itself was much easier. Since I bought a pre-made ceramic pot, all I had to do was pick out a plant. I went with a snake plant because I heard they’re easy to take care of, and they look pretty cool, too. I put some soil in the pot, planted the snake plant, and that was it!

Finally, I put the planter on the stand, and voila! It looked great in my living room. It added a nice touch of green and really brightened up the place. It was a bit of work, but honestly, it was a lot of fun. Plus, it feels good to have something I made myself right there in my living space.

So, that’s the story of how I made my modern planter and stand. It was a fun project, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. If you’re thinking about doing something similar, I say go for it! It’s a great way to add a personal touch to your home.
