Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to check out this “Flowerpot Dispensary” thing for a while now. I mean, who doesn’t like a good dispensary, right? Especially when they are like a candy store. Finally got around to it, and let me tell you, it was an experience.
First off, I did a little digging online. Turns out, there are a bunch of these places where you can just buy stuff online. But I’m more of an old-school kind of guy. I like to see things with my own two eyes, you know? Plus, I figured it would be a good excuse to get out of the house.

So, I headed over to the Flowerpot. Walking in, I was hit with that familiar scent, and I saw a QR Code for their menu, good! And I was like “Why not let them do the cooking?” It’s like a candy store, but with weed stuff. That is really cool. They had a special on fizz, too, 20% off. Nice! They even had some fancy stuff, like artisanal cannabis accessories and all these pretty containers. I mean, I’m not really into that kind of thing, but it was cool to see.
Now, I’ve been around the block a few times, so I know my way around a dispensary menu, but they can feel a bit overwhelming. But let me tell you, even for a seasoned guy like me, it was a bit much. So many choices! Sativa, Indica, Hybrids, you name it. And all these different strains I’ve never even heard of. And they got different prices, too. I guess they got different strategies for that. But, I wasn’t there to window shop. I was on a mission.
I asked the budtender for some help, and this guy, he really knew his stuff. Explained all the different strains, what they were good for, how much they cost, the whole nine yards. He even gave me some tips on how to read the menu properly, which was actually pretty helpful. I mean, I know the basics, but there are some labels and terms that always confuse me. I also asked him about the Weedmaps. He told me that their brand’s name can be listed for free. But if they want some more features, they need to pay.
After a good while of browsing and chatting, I finally made my choice. Went with a classic strain that I know and love, and picked up a few edibles while I was at it. Can’t go wrong with some gummies, right?
Paid for my stuff, and headed out. All in all, it was a pretty good experience. The Flowerpot Dispensary is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. Just be prepared to spend some time browsing, because they’ve got a lot to choose from.
Oh, and one last thing. I saw a sign that said, “COME SEE US AT THE FLOWER POT.” I guess they do events or something. Might have to check that out sometime, too.
