Is the Plint Watering Can Worth the Money? See Our Honest Opinion Here

So, I was looking at my plants the other day, and I realized they were, you know, kind of thirsty. I mean, I water them, sure, but it’s always a bit of a hassle, right? You gotta fill up a cup, make sure you don’t spill, and then try to pour it just right so you don’t drown the poor things. Well, I figured there had to be a better way. And there is, my friends. It’s called a watering can.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “A watering can? Really? That’s so basic.” But hear me out. These things are designed to deliver water to your plants in a way that no other container can. I mean it’s important to spread your watering evenly on the soil and a watering can is just perfect for it. I did a little digging, and I found this one watering can – Best Choice Products’ Galvanized Steel Watering Can. Seemed pretty solid, and the price was right, so I decided to give it a go.

Let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer. First off, it holds a decent amount of water. I found one called the Novelty Indoor Watering Can 1 Gallon Red, and it’s the perfect size for my indoor jungle. No more running back and forth to the sink every five minutes. And the spout, oh the spout! It’s long and narrow, so I can get right to the base of the plant without making a mess.

But here’s the real kicker, you know, it’s actually kind of fun to use. I know, I know, it sounds silly, but there’s something satisfying about watching the water flow out and knowing you’re giving your plants exactly what they need. Plus, it’s way easier on my wrists than using a regular cup or pitcher.

Here are some things I did:

  • Checked my plants: First, I took a good look at all my plants to see which ones actually needed water. No point in watering a cactus that’s already drowning, right?
  • Filled up the can: I filled the watering can with room temperature water. Plants don’t like it too cold or too hot.
  • Watered carefully: I used the long spout to direct the water to the base of each plant, avoiding the leaves as much as possible.
  • Emptied any extra water: I made sure to empty any water that collected in the saucers under the pots. Don’t want any root rot!

So, yeah, that’s my experience with the watering can. It might seem like a small thing, but it’s made a big difference in my plant care routine. If you’re still using a regular cup or pitcher, I highly recommend making the switch. Trust me, your plants will thank you. I got mine at the garden centre. I remember that watering cans are so cheap and easy to pick up at the garden centre, so I’m sure you will find your favorite, too. They’re like, a few bucks. And it is totally worth it. I mean, it keeps the plants happy and hydrated, right?
