Okay, so, I’ve been getting into gardening lately, and I gotta say, it’s messy work! My hands were getting all scratched up and covered in dirt. So, I figured it was time to invest in some proper gardening gloves.
I remembered seeing these Laura Ashley gardening gloves online a while back, and they were so pretty! I mean, who says gardening can’t be stylish, right? Anyway, I decided to treat myself and ordered a pair.

When they arrived, I was immediately impressed. They’re made of this really soft, white leather, and they fit like a dream. I was a little worried about getting them dirty, but hey, that’s what they’re for, right?
I started using them for all my gardening tasks, from planting seeds to pulling weeds. They really protected my hands from getting scratched by thorns or rough branches. Plus, they kept the dirt out, which was a huge plus. And, let me tell you, these gloves can handle some serious work.
- Pruned my rose bushes without getting a single scratch.
- Repotted my succulents without getting dirt all over my hands.
- Cleared out a whole bed of weeds, and my hands still looked decent afterward.

Now, I know some people might think it’s silly to care about how your gardening gloves look, but I don’t see it that way. I think it’s great to have things that are both practical and pretty. And if pretty gloves make me more excited to get out in the garden, then that’s a win-win, right?
They might get a little dirty over time, but I think that just adds to their charm. It shows that they’re well-loved and well-used. Plus, it’s kind of satisfying to see the evidence of a hard day’s work in the garden. And they kept the dirt and even some organisms out, and also they protect the soil from drying my skin out.
