Recently I bought a pair of micro tip scissors, and I am so excited to share my experience with you all today!
First of all, I did a lot of research online, trying to find the best brand. It seems like lots of people like the Fiskars brand, especially their 5 Inch Titanium Micro-Tip Easy Action Scissors, so that’s what I ended up getting. They are grey and made of plastic and metal, and have this “Softouch” thing and spring action going on.
I went to Bunnings to buy them in person. They have over 320 stores, so it was pretty easy to find one near me. They also had a bunch of other sharpening tools, but I didn’t need any of those at the moment. The store was neat, well-organized, and the staff were really helpful when I had a few questions about the different types of scissors.
After buying them, I couldn’t wait to try them out! They are said to be “ideal for cutting”. I had a few projects in mind where I needed to make some tight cuts and snip some intricate details. I was a little worried at first, because I haven’t used scissors like these before. And fabric shears can be pricier than regular paper scissors, but they last longer and cut cleaner. So I just went for it.
I carefully started using the scissors, and man, they work like a charm! The small, sharp micro-tips let me cut through fabric with such precision. No jagged edges, just nice and clean cuts. They felt really comfortable in my hand too, even after using them for a while.
