Are White Orchid Flowers Hard to Grow? (Easy Tips for Beginners to Grow Stunning Orchids)
  • First off, don’t be drowndin’ ’em. These orchids, they don’t like to be soppin’ wet all the time.
  • And don’t go stickin’ ’em in the dark neither. They need light, but not the kind that’s gonna scorch ’em. Like the sun through a window, but not right up against the glass, ya know?
  • They need somethin’ to hold on to, these orchid flowers. Can’t just stick ’em in any old dirt.
  • Don’t be freezin’ them to death. They don’t like that at all.

They say there’s all kind of them white orchid flowers. Mine are the kind they call, uh, Phala…Phala-somethin’. Moth orchid, that’s it! ‘Cause they look like them little moths, I reckon. They got these big ol’ leaves, kinda thick and leathery. And the flowers, well, they just kinda hang there, all graceful-like on these long stems.

Keep Them Orchids Alive

The most important thing is not to overwater these darn orchids. These white orchid flowers don’t like to be swimmin’. Just give ’em a little drink when they start feelin’ dry. Like when the stuff you got ’em planted in feels dry when you poke your finger in it. That is how you know. That’s when it’s time to water.

And don’t be puttin’ ’em in no dark corner. They like the light, but not too much. I put mine near a window where the sun comes in, but not right smack-dab in the sunbeams, ya see? I heard these white orchids don’t like direct sunlight. It’s no good for them.

You gotta give these white orchid flowers somethin’ to grow in, too. It ain’t like them regular flowers you can just stick in the ground. They need special stuff. It’s all crumbly and looks like little bits of bark and whatnot. I don’t know what all’s in it. I just buy it at the store. It says “orchid mix” on the bag. The orchids like it just fine.

Don’t Let ‘Em Freeze!

Now, I heard tell there’s other kinds of white orchid flowers, too. Some of ’em are real fussy, they say. But these moth orchids, they’re pretty easy goin’. Just don’t let ’em get too cold. They like it warm, like me. I keep my house warm, so they’re happy.

They need to be repotted every so often. When they are too big for the pot they in. It is best to get them in a bigger pot, but not too big, with more of that orchid mix in it. That’s how you keep them orchids growing. They like that.

Pretty White Orchids

These white orchid flowers, they sure are somethin’ to look at. They just sit there, lookin’ all pretty and delicate. But they ain’t as delicate as they look. They’re tougher than you might think. The white color is so pretty. It is a clean color. It is nice to look at.

So, if you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ yourself some white orchid flowers, don’t be scared. They ain’t as hard to grow as some folks make ’em out to be. Just remember what I told ya, and you’ll be fine. And if I can do it, anyone can. They are real pretty, so it is worth it to try.

Just remember, don’t overwater ’em, give ’em some light but not too much, and put ’em in that special orchid mix. And don’t let ’em freeze! If you do all that, you’ll have yourself some beautiful white orchid flowers to look at all year round. They are not too hard to keep alive, really. They just need a little care.

I like to look at my white orchids. They are so pretty. I hope you get some orchids, too. They make a place look real nice. They are better than other flowers. They are the best kind to have. You will like them, too, I bet. Orchids are the best. Especially white orchids. These white orchid flowers are the prettiest.
